For my humorous arguement i chose a segment from the show Family Guy. Family Guy is known for its random humor and satirical content that sometimes gets viewers wondering where its all going. This clip is criticising the American government for staying in Iraq until a secular democracy is in place. The show argues that it seems like the guys in charge are simply waiting for Democracy to Kick In.

I thought your humorous article from class today was well written. I especially liked the reference to Al Gore winning the Noble Peace Prize before any of the negative effects of war would occur. Your point was clear and your use of humour was great.
Your argument was very good and I thought it really did show what you wanted. I would onyl say, if you wanted to make it a skit you could add a little more to it, or even you could make it a cartoon and just have one tagline using the al gore comment, but it was really good and I enjoyed it.

I like your style. The dry humor was great. I especially liked the part closing with "I just don't know!", i would drag that out longer. It is hard to give advice i think you nailed it. Good job.
Perfect satire, and use of dry humor to criticize the Iraq war in a funny way. Strong points, the only suggestion that Elsa and I mentioned to you already is to make a 5 years later....and make your character say something about still being there. Other than that it was great.
I liked your use of the Nobel prize and Al Gore and referencing things that did happen in the future, even though it takes place a few years ago. I don't think that it is too short for a skit, but if you had one or two more points it would solidify the length. I like how it was easy to understand for any audience.
